Here at the Center for Ecolonomic Excellence and Development (CEED) and Nourish the Planet (NTP) we are excited to be doing daytime “Huddles” for our staff, interns, alumni and guests every FIRST and THIRD Wednesday of every month.
Our facilitator, Dr. Wayne Dorband, has directed our operations from the start and knows more about our efforts than anyone. He will seek the thoughts of other staff throughout the Huddle.
Our next NTP/CEED bi-monthly Huddle webinar/seminar will be held on September 17, 2014 at the CEED Headquarters. Please come and visit with us live at 1:00 PM Mountain Time (bring your late lunch if you would like).
We’re delighted to have as our next bi-weekly Huddle/ Webinar guest, Dave Roeser, Founder and President of sustainable agriculture business at Garden Fresh Farms in Maplewood, Minnesota.
Garden Fresh Farms, started in 2010 by Dave & DJ Roeser and son Bryan in a 20,000 sq ft warehouse, is the first urban farm to win Family Farm of the Year in Minnesota. They have developed several systems to grow herbs and produce using sustainable methods indoors for consistent year round growth. Garden Fresh Farms features an on site lab to test everything from food born pathogens to animal health and well-being and is currently working on the launch of satellite “farms” in additional cities.
