For our local followers, we want to promote a really amazing event happening Friday, July 13th and Saturday July 14th here in Loveland. The event is called assemble. and takes place at the Loveland Feed & Grain. On Friday is an art exhibition featuring local artists and on Saturday is the main event, the completion! In this competition artists will turn junk of all kinds into a one of a kind sculpture. The competition is timed while artists glue, weld, wire, and assemble so called trash together to make beautiful sculptures. Our good friends at Uncle Benny’s Building Supplies are sponsoring the event and the finished sculptures will be auctioned off to help raise money for Alternatives to Violence. This kind of event really makes people look at their idea of trash and see that by looking at things differently we can extend the life of an object and create a more sustainable culture. This is a great event to support your own sustainability ideals!
